  • Clean due-diligence trail for fundraising & M&A
  • Peace of mind for founders and boards

Answers

Audit questions, answered.

Which companies need a statutory audit?
Every company registered under the Companies Act — Private Limited, Public Limited, OPC and LLP (conditionally) — must have their accounts audited annually by a qualified CA. There is no minimum turnover threshold for statutory audit.
When is a tax audit mandatory?
A tax audit under Section 44AB is mandatory if your business turnover exceeds ₹1 crore (₹10 crore if 95%+ of transactions are digital) or if your professional receipts exceed ₹50 lakh in a financial year.
What does a forensic audit involve?
A forensic audit investigates potential fraud, fund misappropriation or financial misconduct. Our CAs trace transactions, analyse documents and produce findings that can be used as evidence in legal or disciplinary proceedings.
How long does a statutory audit take?
It depends on the size and complexity of your business. A typical SME statutory audit takes 2–4 weeks from the date all documents are shared. We agree on a timeline upfront so you always know what to expect.
Can you conduct a stock audit for a bank requirement?
Yes. Banks require periodic stock audits for working capital loan accounts. Our CAs conduct on-site physical verification and submit the bank's prescribed format report within the agreed timeline.
